		GRP Model Yachts has strived to build the very best quality SOLING 50 on the market today. Our boat hulls and decks come with a durable Gelcoat finish in one of 16 available colors. Our keel is manufactured with the lead ballast pre-cast and installed inside the keel. The keel finish is white Gelcoat over fiberglass outer skins. Our SOLING 50 has a custom interior that will accomodate either a drum or arm winch. The kit is packaged in three configurations. Basic Soling 50 Kit: - Price $595.00 - Our Soling 50 Kit includes (1) Hull, (1) Deck, (1) Keel, (1) Rudder, (1) Mast, (1) Boom Tube and all interior structural parts, including radio tray, and instructions. Deluxe Soling 50 Kit: - Price $779.00 - Our Deluxe Soling 50 Kit includes the Basic Soling 50 Kit plus a Soling 50 Rigging Kit. The rigging kit comes with the deck hardware, fittings, line, wire, etc. - everything needed the rig the boat. This package has everything needed to complete and sail the boat except sails and electronics. Complete Soling 50, Ready-To-Sail: - Price $1,695.00 - For those who simply want to go sailing without taking the time to build a boat, this option is for you. Our complete Soling 50 comes ready to sail. The electronics include a Hitec Laser 4 radio, an RMG SmartWinch, and a rechargeable NiMH battery pack. A stand is also included. Soling 50 Rigging Kit: - Price $189.00 - Our Soling 50 Rigging Kit comes with the deck hardware, fittings, line, wire, etc. - everything needed the rig the boat. 	The Soling 50 is a model of the Olympic class Soling, which is a 27 foot, 3 man, keel boat designed by Jan Herman Lingle of Oslo, Norway in 1964. The SOLING 50 has been manufactured for many years and continues to grow in popularity, largely because she sails well and is a relatively straight forward and easy boat to build and maintain. The Soling 50 is also a AMYA one design class boat.
	At 50" long she is big enough to sail like a full size boat, yet she will easily fit into most vehicles for transportion to and from the lake. The Soling 50 displaces a minimum of 17 lbs. The class limits the radio controlled functions to 3, yet the boat can be sailed competitively with only 2 servos, one for steering, one for sail trim.
