At just over 6' long on deck, this 3/4" to the foot scale "America," is a really big RC yacht! We are currently re-tooling the hull to improve the detailing of this yacht. This sailing model of the Schooner Yacht America will be set as she was on August 22,1851, when she won the 53-mile race around the Isle of Wight.

The "America" will be available as a Basic Kit and as a Deluxe Kit. The Basic Kit will include a fiberglass hull, sub-deck, and rudder. It will also include building drawings and a rigging/sail plan. The Deluxe Kit will also include the deck planking, spars, sails, rigging, fittings, ballast, and cabin details.
